The motor units of the 814 series are used for light passenger transport on local lines. They were created by the reconstruction of cars 810 (ex M152.0) and the connection with the coach car of the original series 010. Serial rebuilding took place between 2005 and 2012, in a total number of 210 units and also 24 pcs three-car units. The motor units are operated on the territory of the Czech Republic by the operator České dráhy.
